I recently bought new sheets from The Bay, as I had kicked in my sleep and put my foot through my old ones. The cheapest ones I could find were 600 thread count. They feel so stiff and crinkly that it's like sleeping on Tyvek woven polyethylene house wrap. This is a reminder that I am now comfortably well-off.
