Gourmet meal in Kosovo

Prishtina, the capital of Kosovo, is a nice little town in a basin. There are apartment buildings, a university, and office buildings on the flat part at the bottom. Narrow winding cobblestone streets zigzag up the hillsides, and stucco houses with red clay tile roofs are packed together.

There is a very nice pedestrian promenade in the centre, near the Bill Clinton Memorial [sic]. A wide traffic-free street, paved with stone, lined with government offices, cafes, and restaurants, with lots of benches and fountains - it is a very pleasant place.

I went to the fanciest restaurant there, and had another amazing meal. Huge salad with red peppers, fresh bread, and wonderfully-cooked grilled baby meat on sticks. Two cups of excellent macchiatto with mineral water, excellent service, and only €15.

Wandered back through the dark streets, listening to calls to prayer from different mosques forming a nice harmony.
