25 years ago, these women were at the École Polytechnique de Montréal. Twelve were engineering students. One was an office clerk, and one was a nursing student. A gunman entered the school, said, "You're all a bunch of feminists, I hate feminists", and killed them. Another 14 people were injured.


Each anniversary, we recommit ourselves to change society, promoting the acceptance of universal human rights and societal equality across genders, and working to prevent violence against women.
