Breadfruit was on sale, so I got one. I've never had it before. $2 for a solid mass the size of a small watermelon. Raw breadfruit tastes like the white material under the peel of a grapefruit. Bland, spongy, but with a pleasant citrus tang. Wikipedia says it's good boiled, so I sliced some up, and will let it simmer overnight. Any other cooking suggestions?
