Saturday, I went downtown and met Sandy at the ferry terminal on the waterfront. I kept losing my way, so Sandy guided me via text using my work cellular telephone. We took a century-old ferry boat to the low tree-covered islands sheltering Toronto Harbour, and walked and chatted. I brought almonds and raisins, and Sandy brought bananas. Aside from sprinkles at the start, it was a beautiful day. We just walked through the trees, sat on benches, wandered along the beach, and looked out at the water while talking. We may not be in an official relationship, but I still had a satisfying and relaxing time being with him. It finally started to rain heavily, but only just as we got to the ferry terminal to ride back. We then ate at a nice restaurant in the gay village at Church and Wellesley streets. I had mushroom risotto for the first time. It was very good, and doesn't seem like it would be too hard to make. We then parted, and I got my hair cut before coming home.
This morning, I went to the gym, and tried out the new dry sauna - they ripped out the old steam room. When I got home, I then lay down for a short nap.
Nearly EIGHT HOURS LATER, I woke up. Long hours at work and the walking in the fresh air must have really exhausted me. So I grilled up some fish, and now I am going to catch up on LJ and sleep.
